JetBlue expands presence in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO — JetBlue is expanding its presence in San Francisco by adding flights there to New York, Boston and Long Beach.
The New York-based airline already had flights on those routes. It went to five daily flights to Long Beach, up from three, and added second flights to New York and Boston.
JetBlue also flies from San Francisco International Airport to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Austin, Texas. With the new flights, it now has 11 daily departures from San Francisco.
United, American, Alaska and other carriers have major operations in San Francisco, which has a large number of international flights.
