Chicago museum offers free admission this week
CHICAGO — Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry is offering free general admission this week.
Among the exhibits included is Science Storms, which opened in March. The new permanent exhibit explains the mysteries of physics and chemistry through recreations of tornadoes, lightning and avalanches.
The museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Free general admission runs through Friday.
Some attractions such as Omnimax films, the U-505 Submarine on-board tour and Smart Home aren’t included in general admission.
