Sailfest New London 2010 Details

London (GaeaTimes.com) - Sailfest is going to rock this weekend in new London. This festival is a great outdoor event full of fun, food and rides but the main attraction is the fireworks. This festival is 25 years old. It is a huge event for the people of New London. They are going to celebrate this weekend in joyous mood. Total recreation, full amusements are present in this festival. In this year Sailfest dates are 9th, 10th and 11th July. There will be many exhibitions in the festival. Food vendors, live music concert will enrich the quality of the Sailfest of New London.

The fireworks take place generally in Thames River. 100 of boats come from up and down of the coast. It is the second largest fireworks of the nation. Beside fireworks there are some attracting events. One of them is sea scouting. This educational co-program is provided to the students of age 14 to 21. It is adventure in sea and land for the youth. The duration of the event is almost 9 hours. It is bicycle valet. Many participants take part in it under the guidance of bike. Rider may leave the bicycles under the supervision of bike.
