Detroit group offers ‘Behind the Scenes’ tours
DETROIT — The Detroit Historical Society is offering a series of “Behind the Scenes” tours this month.
Remaining tours scheduled for August include an Aug. 14 trip to Elmwood Cemetery, an Aug. 21 walking tour of Detroit’s Indian Village neighborhood and an Aug. 28 walking tour of the city’s Corktown neighborhood.
Tickets for those tours are $20 for Detroit Historical Society members and $30 for guests. Reservations may be made on the group’s website.
Other tours are planned for September.
