Allegiant signs three-year pact with Peppermill

LAS VEGAS — Allegiant Travel Co. will provide charter air service to Peppermill Casinos Inc.’s three Wendover, Nev., resorts as part of a new three-year deal between the companies.

The carrier said late Tuesday that it anticipates more than $20 million in revenue over the length of the contract.

The company plans to base one of its MD-80 jets out of Wendover by March 1, 2011 in order to provide service to Peppermill’s Montego Bay Casino Resort, Rainbow & Hotel Casino and Peppermill Hotel & Casino.

Allegiant, based in Las Vegas, also provides hotel packages and car rentals through partnerships with various companies.

The company’s stock declined $1.13, or 2.6 percent, to $41.72 in afternoon trading.
