Hersha Hospitality to add 4 hotels to portfolio
PHILADELPHIA — Hersha Hospitality Management said it will add four hotels to the properties it operates during the first half of 2010.
Hersha plans to double its portfolio in three years and said Friday the new properties are part of that strategy.
Hersha will convert an independent hotel in Manhattan’s financial district into a Holiday Inn, and take over management at the Fairfield Inn Atlantic City North in New Jersey and the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Newtown and Bucks County, Pa.
The company said it will be a joint venture investor and manager at the Element by Westin in New Jersey.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
