Expedia Sun & Ski promotion offered for early 2010

NEW YORK — Searches and bookings for destinations on Expedia change dramatically with the new year.

For the holiday season, Expedia’s top 10 destinations were New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Denver, San Francisco, Chicago, Phoenix, Washington D.C., and Seattle.

But for Jan. 1-March 31, folks come to Expedia looking for a lot more sun. The top 10 destinations for that period are Orlando, Las Vegas, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Fort Myers (Fla.), Denver, New York, Phoenix, and Honolulu.

To cater to the change in preferences, Expedia is now offering a Sun & Ski promotion, which includes cruise deals, for up to 30 percent off, at nearly 1,000 hotels around the world in sunny destinations, and at more than 100 top hotels in ski destinations in the U.S. and Canada.

Travel must be booked by Feb. 29, and completed by March 31.
